Armed Forces Day

May 20,2017

The 8th National Armed Forces FreedomRide Arizona is an annual fundraiser for Military Assistance Mission. This year’s team is once again energized and ready to put together one of the largest nationwide event/rides taking place on May 20,2017.

All funds raised will benefit the Military Assistance Mission, an organization dedicated to provide financial and morale aid to our current Arizona active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors regardless of overseas deployment status.

Since 2010 Arizona alone has raised more than $35,000.00 for our Military, their families and veterans. The funds raised from this ride/event stay here in Arizona.

Some of our supporters are Tim Chambers the Saluting Marine, Desert Wind Harley Davidson, American Legion Riders, Mike Broomhead and Jim Sharpe from KFYI, KDKB Fitz Madrid, KUPD Ruby Cheeks, KFNX 1100 Talk Radio, Arizona Republic, Arizona Veterans Connection, Congressmen Ben Quayle, Dean Martin, Ken Bennett Secretary of State, Law Tigers, E6 Energy, Liberty Mutual, Chuck Franklin Law, POW, MIA, KIA Honor Guard, Joe Miller and Aurora the Eagle from Liberty Wildlife, Tank the Marine Dog and CEO Margy Bons from MAM Arizona.

Armed Forces Day was proclaimed on May 20, 1950, this is a day to salute all of the women and men in all branches of service who protect our country and you. This event is our commitment to support their sacrifices and remember our military not only on Armed Forces Day, but every day across the United States of America.
